Participación, arte y naturaleza 💚

 

En el contexto de la Escuela Bíblica de Vacaciones se realizó un taller acerca de la importancia de cuidar nuestro medio ambiente. Junto con el grupo de adolescentes, se pudo reflexionar con respecto a los beneficios de la naturaleza para la humanidad, como también en las acciones de contaminación que se han desarrollado contra ella. En las clases se les propuso a los y las adolescentes realizar una actividad en grupo que manifestara lo que habíamos aprendido esos días, es así que se desarrolla un cartel de manera colectiva utilizando materiales reciclados en su totalidad, el cartel enfatiza en reconocer la importancia de los árboles y del cuidado de la creación como nuestro hogar. Así mismo, un participante creó una historieta relacionada a la ambición del ser humano en generar más riquezas sin importarle las consecuencias de destrucción en su medio natural. Tanto el cartel como la historieta se presentaron el día domingo a toda la iglesia “Luz y Vida”. 

Esta fue una experiencia muy especial porque los y las adolescentes tuvieron la oportunidad de expresar sus aprendizajes y opiniones de manera creativa y colectiva, resaltando sus capacidades de liderazgo, comunicación y trabajo en equipo. Así mismo, al reconocer las características y beneficios integrales que nos brinda la naturaleza había un sentir de gratitud y valoración por parte de los y las participantes. También fue muy importante el espacio que se les brindó para escucharlos y reflexionar a partir de las creaciones artísticas realizadas por los niños, niñas y adolescentes con mensajes bíblicos tan importantes desde un enfoque de cuidado de la creación. 

In the context of the Vacation Bible School, a workshop was held about the importance of taking care of our environment. Together with the group of adolescents, we were able to reflect on the benefits of nature for humanity, as well as the pollution actions that have been developed against it. In the classes, the adolescents were asked to carry out a group activity that would express what we had learned those days, so a poster was developed collectively using entirely recycled materials. The poster emphasizes recognizing the importance of the trees and caring for creation as our home. Likewise, a participant created a cartoon related to the ambition of human beings to generate more wealth without caring about the consequences of destruction in their natural environment. Both the poster and the comic strip were presented on Sunday to the entire “Luz y Vida” church.

This was a very special experience because the adolescents had the opportunity to express their learning and opinions in a creative and collective way, highlighting their leadership, communication and teamwork abilities. Likewise, by recognizing the integral characteristics and benefits that nature offers us, there was a feeling of gratitude and appreciation on the part of the participants. Also very important was the space given to them to listen to them and reflect on the artistic creations made by the children and adolescents with such important biblical messages from a focus on care for creation.
